Aluminum mounting illuminates the narrative quality of Linda Ruggieri's large format photography in the exhibit ON & OFF THE BEATEN PATH at Hotel Triton.
McKinley Art Solutions and Hotel Triton are pleased to present photographer Linda Ruggieri in a solo exhibit, ON & OFF THE BEATEN PATH. Through a multi-step emulsion transfer process the artist has created a body of work that highlights her observant eye enhanced by her sophisticated use of digital technology. The resulting images mounted on aluminum panels are decidedly narrative in a mysterious, visionary way evoking a feeling of prolonged de ja vu. The public is invited to a reception for the artist on Thursday, April 18 6 -8pm. The exhibit is now open for viewing.
"Some days the world offers up an image I see in a whole new way. I can marvel at a fallen leaf or a light dappled shadow dancing on a wall. An architectural form suddenly delights. I photograph because I find beauty in the details, and a sense of tranquility in the process of preserving that moment." - Linda Ruggieri
Reception with the artist: Thursday, April 18 6:00 - 8:00pm
Exhibit open daily 24 / 7; through June 4, 2013
