112 N Tower
Centralia, Washington 98531

In one of its most popular events of the year, the historic Olympic Club Hotel & Theater proudly hosts its 11th Annual Brewfest. Running from 2 p.m. to midnight, this beer lover's showcase features handcrafted beers from six Washington McMenamins brewers as well as several guest brewers. Representatives from each brewery will be available to discuss the virtues of their ales.

In addition to soaking up the atmosphere of one of our most legendary establishments with its history of bootlegging, bullet holes, subterranean tunnels and rumors of hauntings beer enthusiasts can also tour the Olympic Club brewery, relax in the outdoor seating area, play a round or two of half-price pool, and enjoy fine food from the open-pit barbecue, including bratwurst, tri-tip steak and burgers with "the world's best baked beans."

Meanwhile, the theater hosts music starting at 5 p.m., featuring the high-energy bluegrass of Jackstraw as they roll through on the Great Northwest Music Tour! There is no charge to attend, and while this is an all ages event, the brewery and theater are restricted to those over 21. Beer tickets are $1; a beer sample costs one ticket, and a pint costs three tickets.

Out-of-towners take note! The Olympic Club is just blocks from Centralia's railroad station, and what better reason than a brewfest to take the train to this historic property? Check out Amtrak's 2-for-1 fares; you and a companion can ride the rails in style to the Olympic Club. A limited number of 2-for-1 rail coupons are available at all McMenamins locations; some restrictions and blackout dates apply.
