The City of Olivette ushers in autumn this year with a celebration of community and friendship with music, dance, food, activities for all ages and a bonfire to warm the night. The “Olivette on the Go” festival will take place September 30th through October 2nd in Stacy Park. Admission to the festival is free, wristbands and carnival tickets for rides are available for purchase. No coolers or pets will be permitted into the festival.
Week-end festivities will include a 5K race, a chili cook-off, softball tournament and a spaghetti eating contest. See several local community organizations, including a performance by the students of the Dave Simon School of Rock. The Magic House will also be on site providing free educational activities.
Listen and dance to live music every afternoon on the main stage, featuring the Soulard Blues Band, Johnny Rawls, Billy Peek, and Troy Clark. The festival will close Sunday evening with a concert by The Little River Band.
