Olga Tanon's first album, 'Sola,' went platinum shortly after its release and made her an instant superstar in her native Puerto Rico and throughout the Latin American community in the United States and abroad. In 1999, she was awarded the Grammy for Best Merengue Album. Some of Tanon's more popular songs are 'Vendras Llorando,' 'Muchacho Malo,' 'Yo Por Ti' and 'Quiero Tu Me Quiero.'
