Carolina Clearwater was one of Ziggy's own, performing regularly on the roots and rock stage. Now stretching into venues beyond Greensboro, lead guitarist Sam Robinson summons Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and an old blues-man soul in a young man's body. Backed by a feisty, dirty rhythm section Carolina Clearwater throws a ferocious funk and walks the line between rock's greatest blues benders and improvisational jam bands.
