Oktoberfest Dinner ‘09 at Signature Grill October 10, 2009

Signature Grill at Starr Pass will give guests a true taste of Germany at its annual Oktoberfest! The special five-course Oktoberfest Dinner celebrates the foods, flavors and beers of Germany. All entrées are traditional Oktoberfest foods paired with complementary German beers. Reservations are strongly recommended.

First course, delight in beet borscht with beef and cabbage, paired with Warsteiner.

Second course, savor a potato pancake with apple chutney, crème fraîche and snipped chives, paired with Hofbrau lager.

Third course, enjoy a frisée and red oak lettuce salad, cambozola cheese, hen of the woods mushrooms, Champagne grapes and plum vinaigrette, paired with Franziskaner hefeweizen.

Fourth course, satisfy your pallet with a seared duck breast with sugar beet hash, späetzle, white asparagus and lingonberry compote, paired with Spaten Oktoberfest beer.

Fifth course, complete the experience in pure bliss with a Manjari black forest cherry truffle torte with Bavarian cream, paired with Beck’s dark beer.
