Cellist Okkyung Lee blends classical, jazz, traditional Korean, and noise to create music which "undulates between psychological mayhem and organic serenity" (All About Jazz). A regular on the New York improv scene, this is her first solo appearance in Los Angeles. Dubbed the "Anton Webern of the electronica underground" by The Wire, San Francisco sound collagist Aero Mic'd fuses turntable aesthetics and musique concrete with the studio tradition of ambient music. The result is petite yet dense "noisette miniatures" which captivate and intrigue.
