Need to relax? UNM Continuing Education invites you to join us for a trip to the soothing mineral springs at Ojo Caliente. Generations of New Mexicans, from Native American and Spanish settlers to present day health-seekers have sought the healing natural geothermal waters in the heart of northern New Mexico at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs. A variety of pools, both indoor and outdoor, with varying temperatures and mineral composition offer a day of splendid relaxation. Whether you’re looking for relief from arthritis or want to affirm your New Year’s resolution, a soak in these delightful waters benefits your body, mind and spirit by providing calming nourishment. This trip departs from the UNM Continuing Education east parking lot, located at 1634 University Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 8am and will return at 6pm. The $89 tuition fee includes travel and entrance to the seven mineral pools, steams, and saunas at the facility.
