Ohlone Wind Orchestra announces its Fall 2012 Concert

The Ohlone Wind Orchestra, California's Premier Wind Orchestra, announces its Fall Concert on Sunday, October 14, 2012, 5:00 pm at the Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts in Fremont, CA.

California's Premier Wind Orchestra presents a program of classic and innovative music for band.

Headlining the program is Gustav Holst's orchestral suite, "The Planets", transcribed in its entirety for band.

In addition the band will perform Joseph Willcox Jenkins' classic "American Overture", Ian Polster's "Serenade for Band", Jukka Viitasaari's prize-winning "Strange Dreams", and Bob Joles' entertaining "Tubaler's Holiday", featuring the Ohlone Wind Orchestra tuba section.
