Ohio Sauerkraut Festival October 9, 2010

Every fall, Waynesville becomes the center of German-inspired cuisine in the Midwest during the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Scores of people flock to this charming community to taste the finest Reubens, Kraut Dogs and Cabbage Rolls. With more than 30 food vendors, there is certain to be a dish perfect for everyone.

Those with daring palates will enjoy crazy sauerkraut creations such as pizza, donuts, fudge and sundaes. With your favorite sauerkraut dish in hand, stroll the festival streets browsing a wide selection of arts and crafts. With more than 450 artisans from across the U.S. and Hawaii, this is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the country.
