Official Meet in Honolulu Happy Hour 11/13/07

Every month we have our Official Meet in Honolulu Happy Hour get together where we encourage new members to come out and meet some of the regulars. We usually pick a happy hour location that has great food & drink deals. So get out of the house and meet some new friends.

This month the group is headed into Waikiki for its very first official happy hour there at Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood has been open at this location for over a decade and always has tons of cool movie memorabilia to check out. The food specials will be 50%(off apps) and the restaurant has even agreed to extend its normal happy hour for an additional hour for us. Lets make MIHs first happy hour in Waikiki some special to remember.

DA PLAN:
Meet up inside the downstairs portion of the restaurant. We will have some reserved seats. Hopefully I'll put up a MeetinHonolulu Sign. Play raffle and trivia around 7ish.

This worldwide chain of theme restaurants is a bit hit-and-miss, but the Waikiki location is a winner, especially with Waikiki visitors. Browse tons of Tinseltown memorabilia and choose from a great menu of entrees ranging from meats to seafood. The Caesar Salad is especially good, and the tempting dessert offerings are numerous. The full bar has a decent beer selection and an unremarkable wine list. There is live music and dancing every Friday and Saturday evening starting at 9p.
