Official Meet in Honolulu Happy Hour 4/8/08

Every month we have our Official Meet in Honolulu Happy Hour get together where we encourage new members to come out and meet some of the regulars. We usually pick a happy hour location that has great food & drink deals. So get out of the house and meet some new friends.

Nearly two years ago we first headed to the O lounge for our 3rd Official Meet in Honolulu Happy Hour. Back in 06 the event was one of the largest MIH events ever with around 20+ members in attendance. Now 2 years later we are returning to the O lounge and I'm hoping that we triple the attendance.

We typically don't have too many venues that repeat for Happy Hour but once I heard about the O lounge's new Tuesday happy hour special I just couldn't resist. 2$ drinks and 1/2 off food is almost as good as your going to get at any Happy Hour. Cheap Drinks, pupus and a lounge atmosphere will make this a extra special Happy Hour to meet new friends.

DA PLAN:

Meet up inside the bar at 5:30. We will have a reserved area. Ask the hostess where the group is if you can't find us. Look out for the MIH banner and post cards. If your new ask for Michael or host. Play raffle and trivia around 7:30ish. The bar charges cover at 8pm so if you are coming late(after 8pm) then message me by 4/7 to get on guestlist.

O Lounge info

The O Lounge was founded by owner, Elizabeth Hata-Watanabe, (EHW), in October of 2004. The vision was to bring international flare to the nightlife in Honolulu. EHW has accomlished this by allowing the New York Grunge unfinished, yet contemporary look to enhance the posh, asian-inspired decor. Hi-Tech light and sound effects fill the spacious 10,000 square foot area allowing one to enjoy the energy without ever having to feel crowded by the masses that frequent The O.

DA PARKING:

Free parking in the up the ramp next to O lounge at 5:30. About 30-40 spots available. At 8pm Valet parking begins. Free street parking after 6:30 on Kapiolani. Free parking nearby in Ala Moana Shopping Center(next door) and at Sams club/walmart(1 block away).
