Alt-popstars Austra are to play Islington Mill as part of the 'Off with Their Heads' series, following an epic five night set at SXSW. In contrast to the name, meaning goddess of light, expect dark and sexual electro for the damned. Lead singer Katie Stelmanis trained as an opera singer, before losing herself to Toronto’s punk, scene, joining Galaxy before setting up this hotly tipped three-piece.

Support comes from various folksters from local imprint and longtime advocate of curveball pop Red Deer Club, bringing performances from the un-missable harmonies of Stealing Sheep to newcomers OLA.
