With A Fabulous Silent Art Auction

Off the Wall happens Saturday, March 10, 2007, starting at 7 p.m., at the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 North Raymond Avenue, Old Pasadena. The evening promises to be a fun evening with a fabulous silent art auction, featuring more than 75 works of art. Tickets are $125 per person. Dress is cocktail attire with an artful flair, of course.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Armory¹s programs for children, youth and adults, including educational outreach programs to schools and the community, contemporary art exhibitions, performances, and studio art classes.

Some of the finest contemporary artists are contributing work for the auction including: Peter Alexander, Edgar Arceneaux, Deborah Aschheim, Walter Askin, Margaret Caldwell, Lavi Daniel, Laddie John Dill, Salomon Huerta, Alice Konitz, Olga Koumoundouros, Kristi Lippire, Nancy Monk, R. Kenton Nelson, Echiko Ohira, Minoru Ohira, Helen Pashgian, Sarah Perry, Astrid Preston, Jason Rogenes, Ed Ruscha, Ben Sakoguchi, Gretel Stephens, Lisa Yu, June Wane and many more.

Food, strolling supper, beverages and desserts donated by some of the area¹s finest restaurants and specialty shops, including Brigante, Bristol Farms, Devon¹s, Firestone Wine and Brewery, Gale¹s Restaurant, Green Street Restaurant, Julienne, Kitchen for Exploring Food, Market City Café, Mijares, Parkway Grill, Shiro, Trader Joe¹s.

Art included in the Auction will be on view Saturday, March 3rd thru Friday, March 9 from noon to 5 PM in the Armory¹s Gallery. The art can also be seen on the Armory¹s website at
