The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) and Moriyama and Teshima Architects presents “Off the Boards and Off the Walls of Moriyama and Teshima” - work by world renowned Japanese Canadian architect, Raymond Moriyama and the firm from its 1958 founding to present. The retrospective highlights the extraordinary contribution made to architecture in Canada and abroad through photographs, sketches and multi-media presentations.
Moriyama is the 2010 recipient of the JCCC’s prestigious annual Sakura Award that recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the promotion and exchange of Japanese culture and enhancing awareness of Nikkei heritage within Canada and abroad.
