This exhibition showcases works on paper by four well-known 20th Century African American artists, from the extensive collection of Hickory native the Rev. Douglas Moore and his wife Dr. Doris Hughes-Moore. This show is one of three exhibitions presented in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the NAACP. Featured artists are Romare Bearden, John Biggers, Elizabeth Catlett and Jacob Lawrence.
