Octomom the Musical!!! Yes, it's for real and it opens in July! It's more than a fictionalized comedy inspired by news headlines, Chris Voltaire’s ridiculous, fast-paced musical pastiche reflects popular current events and features zany parodies of some of our recent iconic figures of 2009, such as Octomom, Bernie Made-off, Vince Shamwow and many more. The author labels the show Pop Culture Theater! Featuring 14 Original Songs by Voltaire and composer Rachael Lawrence comically presented in Ultra-Sound Octo-Max! The 70 minute musical comedy uses the story of an opportunistic young woman who becomes the mother of octuplets as a springboard to explore the national ethos of greed and unsustainable growth in a time of collapse.
