Ruth and Carla, both Certified Professional Facilitators, are the first in Nevada to achieve this certification from the International Association of Facilitators. Both bring years of facilitation experience in vastly different venues to this dynamic hands-on training.
Carla Sanda, CPF, is the managing owner of Consensus By Design, LLC. Her company draws upon Ms. Sanda’s more than twenty years’ of experience in working with governmental agencies to clarify issues, focus on the desired objectives, identify key stakeholders to the process, design a results-oriented public involvement approach, develop and produce understandable informational materials, and design and facilitate meetings that are beneficial to both the sponsor and attendee. Carla is also an active member of the International Association for Public Participation.
Since starting The Urban Group LLC, Ruth has focused her consulting practice on facilitation, organizational development, and training. She has facilitated groups and teams in a variety of settings—from birth to death and soup to nuts and everything in between—including issues involving endangered species to sensitive human service issues. Ruth is a member of a number of professional organizations including ASTD, the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), Society for Human Resource Professionals (SHRM) and the OD Network.
