Ocote Soul Sounds December 9, 2011

Working together under a unique partnership, Martin Perna from the Mexico/Texas border and Adrian Quesada of Philadelphia have created a distinctive blend of Latin and Funk music. The two self-taught musicians hail from opposite ends of the country, but grew up with similar influences of jazz, hip hop, and funk which led to their pursuit of experimentation and mixing of genres. Ocote Soul Sounds is a politcally driven and socially responsible musical collaboration with grassroots campaigns including improving the lives of urban musicians to biodiesel fuels.
