The 25th Annual Yakima Folklife Festival.
This festival has craft and food vendors, extensive children’s activities, a mini Medieval Festival (hosted by the Society for Creative Anachronism), a Saturday night Contradance, and music & dance performances on 5 outdoor stages, the museum’s Great Hall stage, and evening concerts at Yakima Sports Center, Russillos, Bob's Keg & Cork, The Depot, The Barrelhouse, Greystone, Yakima Cellars, and Essencia Bakery. The festival is held in the Yakima Valley Museum and adjacent Franklin Park and all events are free to the public. There are over 60 performance acts and the audience is around 10,000 (for the entire festival).
