Recent research from the exciting world of exoplanets suggests that planets can sometimes spiral into their parent stars, creating the potential for some really dramatic shows! Dr. Taylor will talk about the various paths these doomed planets might take, and how we might actually catch these extraordinary events as they happen.

Dr. Taylor has accepted a position at Taiwan's National Tsing-Hua University, in that country's new high-tech city, so we're very lucky to catch him while he's here in California! Please be sure not to miss this talk on the cutting edge of some very exciting research.
