Object of the Month: Mexican Gold Coin August 22, 2009

This 1825 Mexican gold coin was found by Henry Clay Jr a soldier in the Mexican War. He sent this coin home to his son for Christmas and then shortly after died of Typhoid in a Mexican prison camp.
