Oakland Ballet Company Presents Jewels of the Bay: A Mixed Repertoire October 16, 2009

Join Oakland Ballet Company's Guest Artistic Directors Michael Lowe and Jenna McClintock for a mixed repertoire of some of the Bay Area's top choreographers and dancers including San Francisco Ballet's Val Caniparoli and Alonzo King of LINES. The West Coast's latest shining talent, Amy Seiwert, will present her work with fellow Smuin Ballet associates Aaron Thayer and Erin Yarborough. Other dancers include Ikolo Griffin, David Fonnegra, Gabriel Williams, Ethan White, Nikki Trerise, Mariko Takahashi, Denise Schmalle, and Jenna McClintock.

The full program will include "Street Songs" by Val Caniparoli, excerpts from "Revealing the Bridge" by Amy Seiwert, "Love Dogs" by Alonzo King, "Crystal Slipper" by Carlos Carvajal and "Double Happiness" by Oakland's own choreographer Michael Lowe.
