OAKLAND ATHLETICS 12th ANNUAL MUG Root Beer Float Day June 30, 2011

The 12th Annual Oakland A’s MUG Root Beer Float Day will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 10:35am to 12:35pm in the East Side Club at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. Join us as A’s players and coaches, local celebrities, and radio and television personalities will be serving MUG Root Beer floats for $2.00 each. There will also be a limited supply of 32oz. mugs signed by A’s pitcher Trevor Cahill available for $25 which includes unlimited refills, or for $15 you can purchase a non-autographed 32oz. mug, with unlimited refills. Additional funds will be raised through “tips” given in exchange for celebrity scooper’s autographs and pictures. MUG Root Beer Float Day is sponsored by Pepsi. The ice cream for the event is donated by Dreyer’s. Proceeds from MUG Root Beer Float Day benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
