More than 170 booths of juried artists and crafters from throughout the United States. Coming from as far away as Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Tennessee, to as close as Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, and our own local artisans from Louisiana. Some unique items such as mixed media 2-D art, Louisiana Mud Paintings, pen and ink drawings, watercolor prints, copper fountains, sculptured resin dolls and handmade flutes and pipes will be on display for sale. And of course, we will have on hand original and handmade creations such as jewelry, furniture, clothing, home accessories, paintings, photography, pottery, wooden crafts and toys. You will also find gifts to give for Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. And for all those sports fans we will have plenty of LSU and Saints memorabilia! Demonstrations will be preformed by Burt Fleming, a chainsaw artist, Stewart Pitre, a Blacksmith, and Lionel Key, who will be making his famous Uncle Bill's Filé.
As always we structure the festival with activities for the entire family to enjoy. The kids will have more fun than the parents. We will have pony rides, a petting zoo, rock climbing wall, face painting, jewelry making, sand art and much more to keep them busy.
