NYTV8’s New York Talent Contest Holds First Auditions at Sky View Center July 9, 2011

NYTV8 will kick off its highly anticipated New York Talent Contest (NYTC 2011) with the opening round of auditions at Sky View Center, Flushing, Queens’ 800,000-square-foot shopping destination, on Saturday, July 9 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

The talented contestants will perform a variety of entertaining acts, including singing, dancing, martial arts, magic and comical skits, on Sky View Center’s Level D. Registration will remain open to interested participants until noon on Saturday. The exciting three-round competition will run through August, 20 across Queens, Brooklyn and New York City.

Grand prize winners of the 2011 competition will receive a cash prize, special gift, trophy, certificate and the opportunity to become contracted artists and participate in NYTV8’s TV programs. In addition to the grand prize, awards will be given for first, second and third place winners, Most Online Popular Award, Best Teamwork Award and Best Performance Award. Hosted by the worldwide Chinese Television station NYTV8.com, the NYTC 2011 series will be broadcast through NYTV8.com.
