NY400 Week: Fleet of Traditional Dutch Barges September 9, 2009

17 leeboard vessels - not much different from the ones Henry Hudson and his crew used in exploring New York Harbor - arrive at Yankee Pier on Governors Island on September 10. The 'Dutch barges' will be greeted with a festive welcoming ceremony.
