Open to women living with breast and ovarian cancer. The importance of nutrition in supporting a lifetime of health throughout one’s journey with cancer will be presented by Francine Blinten, M.S., C.C.N., a certified clinical nutritionist with a subspecialty in oncology. Discussion to include: The role of diet and lifestyle in cancer, nutrients vs. food, using nutrition to manage side effects of cancer treatments, foods that help improve bone health while on hormone therapy, and the importance of anti-inflammatory foods. Ms. Blinten holds a Masters degree in Bionutrition from the University of Bridgeport and an MBA from Fordham University.
