Nutcracker Ballet December 6, 2009

Ballet Etudes Companys full-length holiday production returns to the Playhouse featuring Michelle Wiles, American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, and Arch Higgins, New York City Ballet soloist. In this family friendly classic set to the music of Tchaikovsky, Claras dreamworld is brought to life. Join the party with Drosselmeyer and the dancing dolls and see the battle between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker Prince. Follow Clara's magical journey to the Land of Snow and share the fun as she is entertained by Mother Ginger, Goldilocks, Chinese Dragons and more. This seasonal ballet tradition captures the classical beauty of the Snow Queen, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier, and the Waltz of the Flowers. Performances at 1:00pm & 4:00pm on Dec. 5 & 6. Tickets $30 adults, $18 children.
