Practicing Breema allows you to experience how nurturing it is to stay connected to yourself as you support others.
Breema invites harmony and balance in our relationship to ourselves, to others, and to all life. It offers essential support to let go of our habitual, fragmented ways of thinking, feeling, and moving, allowing us to experience our mind, feelings, and body working together in harmony.
Breema bodywork and Self-Breema movements give ideal support for practicing body-mind connection and the art of being present, by working with and experiencing the Nine Principles of Harmony.
The Nine Principles of Harmony are the cornerstone of Breema's philosophy, and can be practiced with every movement of Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises. They support us to simply be present with the activity of the body. By returning, again and again, to the connection between body and mind, the feelings gradually begin to participate in a supportive way. When body, mind, and feelings unite, we have a taste of being present.
Practicing bodywork for the purpose of becoming present and raising our level of consciousness supports us to see that it is also possible to have moments of being present during the ordinary activities of our daily life. We can practice being present while walking down the street, talking to a friend, or standing in line at the market.
When you are present, you receive energy from your interactions. The more you are present in yourself, the more you can connect with others, and with all life.
No prior bodywork experience is necessary, but please be comfortable sitting and working on a padded floor.
