The Chestnut Hill College Student’s Political Science Club (SPSA) and the Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA) will present a Nuclear Futures Symposium on March 3, 2010 from 12:30-3:45 in the Redmond Room, St. Joseph Hall.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Carlos Vargas Pizarro, professor of international law and vice president of the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA). Dr. Marie Conn, professor of religion and Dr. Jacqueline Reich, assistant professor of political science at Chestnut Hill College will be joined by Craig Eisendrath, Ph.D., director of the Project for Nuclear Awareness to present a variety of perspectives on the future of nuclear weapons, with a special emphasis on nuclear weapons free zones. The symposium is free and open to the public.
