Fun for all ages, the North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation & Parks will be hosting their annual Summer Blast-Off event, which signifies the beginning of summer activities at Payne Park. There will be a variety of activities and events, including a bounce house, pony rides, music, etc. Children under the age of 18 also receive a free hot dog and drink. Hot dogs for adults cost $1.00 with all proceeds going to the NT Youth Board Scholarship fund.
The event kicks off with a Parade beginning at the corner of Humphrey and Payne, which will lead it's way to Payne Park to start the Summer Blast Off. The parade will feature participants from the Recreation Department's youth programs including cheerleading, dance team, softball, basketball, baton, little people's, and start smart programs. The parade begins at 4:00 PM with Summer Blast Off events continuing until 7:00 PM. For more information contact Alex Domaradzki at 695-8520 ext. 510
