NO COVER and free off street parking in back with a back entrance and smoking area! Just a fun safe place to party! If you like"FreeStyle" This is where you need to be tonight. If I was still living in the South Bay, you would probably find me here. I have been meaning to pay Mike K. aka "DJ Beer" a visit. Finally my buddies and wifey decided to venture out and have some karaoke fun. They have improved on some of their basics, such as they accept credit cards and an ATM in the building and their song selections can be searched off a computer. DJ Beer still operates the oldskool way without going "digital" offers his decent song catalog. He is constantly updating his song list, which you can probably find him in the events section with posting birthdays, party celebrations, etc.
What makes this karaoke bar different from the rest is that everyone has respect here. You can be the worst singer in the world and no one will laugh at you. You can be the best singer on this planet and no one will cheer for you. It's an all goes for nothing, so just give it your best shot!
I recognized some of the locals from our last visit. Just as fun as the last time, I ran into an ole' buddy that joined us and got us some shots. We were having a blast, listening to some fun tunes and tripping out on the acts of performances on the stage.
DJ Mike "Beer" was as welcoming as can be. He made sure to balance out the song requests from everyone, which I didn't mind waiting at all. He goes out of his way to let you know you're on deck and will even hand you the a live mic to be on standby.
With a table RSVP'd for my loved ones and crew, we are going to rock this place like there's no tomorrow. Woot! Woot! We don't need no water let this mofo' burn!

The skinny: No drafts here yet, but they have many beers to choose from.

Probably the most electric venue in Chula Vista.The sound is out there crisp and clear it's probably the best I've heard even in the gas lamp! The bartenders are friendly and fun they make some of the best drinks I've had and they are not expensive. The karaoke / D.J. is great His song selection is amazing anything from classic rock to current hip-hop plus music videos. It's probably the best kept secret in the county! They made me a regular! I don't have to deal with the fights and attitude like the place right off "K" street on third. It's just a fun place to go!!! You'll find me there every weekend!!
