NOVA Fashion Week February 23, 2009

The 1st Annual NOVA Fashion Week, “Birth of a Dynasty”, arrives in the Washington Metropolitan area February 23, 2009-March 1, 2009 at the Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia. Andrew Roby, CEO of Demour, Inc. carefully selected the perfect venue to introduce Fashion Week to the Washington Metropolitan Area. How appropriate that the birth of NOVA Fashion Week is being held at the Washington Masonic Memorial, the meeting place of our nations 1st President, George Washington. The Mason’s like the Designers who will participate in NOVA Fashion Week are recognized as master craftsmen and NOVA Fashion Week will be recognized from this day forward as a premier fashion and cultural event in our area.

After recognizing that the Washington Metropolitan Area, being a major arts and cultural center along the eastern seaboard, needed greater recognition as being in the forefront of artistic expression in the fashion industry, NOVA Fashion Week “The Birth of A Dynasty” was born. Mr. Roby believes that fashion is a mirror of society and its need to express those things that effect our very being and change the course of our lives. Fashion Week will be more than a show; it will be a week long opportunity for visual expression and growth.
