Nov. 16 YOUR DIL Presents...A Masquerade Ball November 16, 2007

On November 16, 2007 at 8pm, YOUR DIL will host its third Annual Gala in New York City at the Broad Street Ballroom ( www.broadstreetballroom.com ). This Venetian masquerade ball will be our biggest event of the year. We have been working on this event for months and are looking forward to presenting you with an unforgettable evening. Our Honoree will be Mohammad Naqvi, the producer of the documentary "Shame". Please note that the dress code will be formal, with masks. Tickets and masks will be available for sale on the YOUR DIL website shortly ( www.yourdil.org). All proceeds will go towards building a new model school in Mansehra, NWFP, Pakistan - the area most affected by the 2005 earthquake.
Who we are:
YOUR DIL (Youth Outreach, Developments in Literacy) is a national 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with 9 fundraising chapters in North America. It is a chapter of DIL, a nonprofit, voluntary organization. Its primary objective is to encourage a younger generation to work for the eradication of illiteracy in South Asia by raising funds to establish primary and secondary level non-formal schools for underprivileged children. To date, DIL has built over 200 schools catering to 11,000 students in all four provinces of Pakistan.
