Zimmerman, whose own vivid imagination, tongue-in-cheek humor and theatrical vision have earned her a MacArthur ?genius? grant and a coveted Tony Award, creates a beautiful, beguiling and brilliant canvas on which the mind of Leonardo is illuminated.
