FRIDAY SEPT 28

2p: DEFY: THE DANNY HARF PROJECT, Wakeboarding
Three years in the making, Defy is a visual overdose of wakeboarding at its highest level, starring four-time X Games gold medalist Danny Harf and his crew of progressive riders.

445p: FORMAT PERSPECTIVE, Skateboarding
Filmed on super 8, this film gives a behind-the-scenes look at the work, lives and opinions of six European skate photographers and the skating that these guys like to shoot, as well as the resulting photos that emerge from these sessions.
620p: A DEEPER SHADE OF BLUE, Surfing
Opening Night Film
This is not a surf movie, it is a film about surfing’s deepest roots: in the subconscious; in ancient lore; in the craft of surfboard building; in man’s perpetual quest for a joyful relationship with the natural world. In famed surf photographer Jack McCoy's latest film, today’s leading surfers are linked to those who came before, for a deeper appreciation of what it means to be a surfer and the soulful underlying power of modern surf culture.
