North Riverside, IL – “Hop”, released in 2011, is an Easter-themed and animated comedy produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment. On Saturday, March 24th at 10:30 AM, this PG-rated film will be showing at the North Riverside Mall Theatre, located at 7501 West Cermak Road. Sponsored by the North Riverside Park Mall, movie admission is FREE and kids are encouraged to come early and attend the Annual Easter event before the show.
Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, “Hop” tells the comic tale of a young rabbit named E.B. who does not want to succeed his father in the role of the next Easter Bunny. While wandering the streets of Hollywood, E.B. is hit by Fred, an out-of-work slacker. Due to the accidental injury, Fred is forced to take the young rabbit in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.
“Hop”, and its amazingly realistic animation, will have the whole family laughing. This special screening is a great way to celebrate Easter cheer!
Before the film showing, North Riverside Park Mall will be hosting “It’s a Bunny Party” Annual Easter Kids Club event from 8:30 to 10 AM. This Kids Club event will have many fun and interactive activities including a magic show, balloon art, face painting, a Brookfield Zoo exhibit, music, games, prizes, and of course, a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself!
