North Downs MTB ride February 1, 2009

Our regular Sunday ride. Exact route still open to debate as with all the rain there's a lot of mud around making it hard work and testing at times.
Note, this is not an organised ride. We're just mountain bikers going roughly in the same direction at roughly the same time!
We give an extra 10 mins for laggards so aim to start by 8:40am.

Dave, my fault probably. Whilst able to ride, I'm not able to tackle the tech stuff so I'm not really up for leading a ride like the one planned.
So the lads kindly agreed to do a Bookham based XC ride and we'll try to search out some less gloopy trails.
Or we could do the Newlands ride but that will be muddy.

Dave, the consensus yesterday was that apart from Colin's finger causing him grief, certain parts of the route were likely to be pretty muddy. So the view was there's always another time.
Let's see what the weather does and sort a route from there.
