North Charleston City Gallery Exhibit: Works by Lynne Baggett and Karen Parker December 1, 2010

Lynne Baggett presents composite relief creations in her exhibition Check the Fine Print. Inspired by stone grave markers in the British Isles, the casting and carving reliefs feature the amalgamation of archaic letterforms and modern epitaphs. Karen Parker presents The Art of Seeing, featuring oil paintings of still-lifes and landscapes in the Classical Realism style. Her paintings examine the interplay of surface, value and color and the relationships and tensions between them.
