WOODWARD MTN Bike Skills Park Event, May 16, Fresno, CA

Big events coming to Fresno’s Woodward Mtn. Bike Skills Park,
NATS, (North American Trials Series, National #1 for 2009 is starting off in Fresno
at the trials park in Fresno’s new Woodward Mtn. Bike Skills Park.

On May 16th Saturday we will have the opening round of this year BikeTrials National for 2009.
Their will be classes for all levels and not just trials bike classes. We will have BikeTrials classes, Unicycles classes,
10 & Under Kids classes and regular mtn bike classes.
More of a skills comp for the Mtn bike class, a lot of fun for all.

Sign ups will on site starting at 8am Saturday morning the 16th.

The late Ralph Woodward, a long-time Fresno resident, bequeathed the major portion of
his estate in 1968 to provide a regional park and bird sanctuary in Northeast Fresno on the
South bank of the San Joaquin River between Highway 41 and Friant Road. The initial 235 acres,
combined with additional acres acquired later by the City brings the park to an amazing 300 acres.
Now packed with amenities, Woodward Park is the only Regional Park of its size in the Central Valley.

Park Hours and Entrance Fees: The park is open April through October, 6am to 10pm and
November through March, 6am to 7pm. ADMISSION per vehicle is $3 for Fresno Residents
(must present Driver's License to verify) and $5 for Non-Residents.
