Author, poet and Zen teacher Norman Fischer, former abbot of the San Francisco Zen Center, will discuss and read excerpts from his latest book, "Sailing Home: Using the Wisdom of Homer's Odyssey to Navigate Life's Perils and Pitfalls." The book draws upon the rich mythology of the Odyssey to help us understand our own spiritual journeys. Reception to follow.
