Norfolk History Museum Series: Historic Photos of Norfolk October 8, 2008

Norfolk City Historian Peggy McPhillips is the author/editor of Historic Photos of Norfolk, published in June 2008 by Turner Publishing. The book includes nearly 200 images of Norfolk people, places, and events from the 1860s to the 1970s. Most are taken from the collections of the Sargeant Memorial Room of Norfolk’s Kirn Memorial Library. Books can be purchased in the Museum's gift shop and McPhillips will be available for a special book signing during the event. Admission is $5 per person and free for Members of the Norfolk Historical Society and Friends of the Historic Houses. Refreshments to follow. Sponsored by the Norfolk Historical Society.
