Communicating with leadership presence is what often distinguishes successful consultants and business leaders. Leadership presence is a unique blend of four components:
--What we believe (mindset)
--How we show up (nonverbal language)
--What we say (words), and
--What we do (actions).
In any conversation, nonverbal language is the first of these components to be expressed and observed, often speaking volumes before any words are exchanged. When we focus on deliberately choosing and using nonverbal behaviors, this enables us to more consistently connect and successfully communicate with greater confidence, clarity, and credibility.
During this engaging and practical session, communication strategist Deb Kaufmann will coach a few volunteers, demonstrating how small shifts in behaviors generate big differences in how we are perceived, and ultimately in how others respond to us.
Participants will see the benefits of purposeful, integrated nonverbal language, including:
--Authentically connecting with others more quickly
--Building stronger rapport
--Demonstrating greater competence and influence
--Achieving the desired outcomes of our communication more easily
Bottom line, this interactive event will inspire and equip you to more effectively influence, mentor, consult, and lead others in our consultancies, with our clients, and beyond.
