Nonprofit Management Certificate - online orientation week September 26, 2010

The online orientation forum for Marlboro College’s fall Certificate in Nonprofit Management opens this week. It’s not too late to apply for the Certificate. The course consists of 10 day-long face-to-face workshops beginning October 8 in Burlington and Norwich, VT. Topics include:

* The nonprofit sector
* Cultivating leadership throughout the organization
* Fundraising
* Grantseeking
* Marketing for nonprofits
* Strategic planning
* Budgeting and financial management
* Human resources, and
* Boards and governance.
