Reigning Grace Ranch, a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue of abused and neglected horses and equine therapy for children in need, is hosting its first Mini Stampede Trainers’ Challenge.
The challenge is a competition among volunteer trainers who have 60 days to train a rescued mini horse and teach them new tricks. Horses will be showing off their new talents and judged on their ability to safely enter and exit a vehicle, pull a wheelchair, jump over obstacles, sit, jump and more. The mini horses will also show off their soccer skills and a special trick of their trainers’ choice. The horses will demonstrate their talents in hopes of being adopted into a loving forever home.
