Chestnut Hill College will host the non-profit management seminar, “Development 101” on Thursday, November 4th from 8:30am- 12:00 noon in the East Parlor, St. Joseph’s Hall. “Development 101” will be the first workshop in the 2010-2011 Nonprofit Capacity-Building series at the College. This session will introduce the basics of development for those who need to restructure or create development programs. The seminar will explain basic definitions, infrastructure, and program vehicles, including how to invite donors to contribute through direct mail, publications, planned gifts, major gifts, and capital campaigns. Additional support and funding for the workshop is provided by Learn & Serve America and the Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development.
