Non Stop Block Rock -- Headlined by The Levons, Supported by Skarlet Blue - Kinoath - Fever Pitch. --------- Just like true rock music, the Levons have always existed. Our music was passed to us through amniotic fluid or from our papas loins in the form of old Beatles, Stones and Led Zep records and collectors guitars given to us as family heir looms. Bluesy roots have grown between us since some pre-pubescent time where we taught each other how to use our craft, and as we learned to play together we each took various influences from bands like Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, and Dave Matthews Band. The Levons as we know them were formed sometime in 2005. Following our perennial blueprint, Luke and Simon began to belt out guitar riffs that have become the tunes in our heads, Nicko the beats that unmistakably hold us together in the same swagger, and that DClasz boy the vocals that make our mamas cry and our skin recoil with excitement and satisfaction. A big win at the Rocks Riverside Battle of the Bands gave us impetus to start recording proper demos, an activity sometimes alcohol-fuelled and during the middle of night, which has shown us were on to something good. Out of perfectionism, loyalty and brotherhood, a lot of raw talent and love of our game we have undertaken an endless pursuit in making music, and we hope you will join us in our journey.
