'Noises Off' is the story of a hapless provincial theater company putting on a conventional sex farce called 'Nothing On.' It utilises the play-within-a-play format with lots of doors slamming, sexual dalliances, confusions and plates of sardines. It is considered to be one of the funniest farces ever written.
