In this classic menage a trois by a master of the sophisticated, meet bohemians Gilda and Otto, she a diletante and he the painter. A visit by Leo, an old friend of Otto's and a successful playwright sets in motion the game of cat and mouse. She loves him, then him but leaves them both for another. Left to their own, the two men heal their broken hearts in each others' arms.
